A quick birthday drabble for you. ALl mistakes are mine and it was typed up in about three minutes.
Zack grinned as he stared at Cloud lying on the large bed. It had taken quite a bit of work and a few favors promised to a certain redhead Turk to find out exactly when Sephiroth’s birthday was, but it had been worth it. Especially after talking with Aeris and Cloud to plan a special birthday surprise. Aeris was in the kitchen of Sephiroth’s quarters, having been snuck in by the same redheaded Turk, baking one of her delicious cakes while Cloud and Zack had gotten the rest of the apartment ready for the guest of honor.
The one problem they discovered when planning everything was what to get Sephiroth for his birthday. Everything they thought up seemed not enough or wrong, from books to candy to a home made dinner. It had taken an offbeat comment from Cloud of all people about giving themselves as presents to their fourth that the planning really started.
Reaching down, Zack straightened the blue silk bow around Cloud’s neck, getting a blush from the young trooper. The bow was the only thing he was wearing with matching ribbons loosely tying his wrists to the headboard, more for show than to restrain him in any manner. There were two more ribbons looped through the headboard on either side of Cloud, waiting for the other ‘presents’ to join him.
“I’m glad to see you have enough restraint not to jump him,” teased a voice behind Zack, and he turned to find Aeris standing there with an impish smile on her face. “I’ll remember to reward you later.” She had already slipped out of her clothes, but instead of tying a ribbon around her neck, she had one tied between her breasts and the other tied around her hips, teasing him with the thought of what was behind that large bow.
Grinning, Zack watched as she crawled onto the bed next to Cloud and pressed a quick kiss to his lips before slipping her hands through the pink ribbon. Cloud grinned at her before looking at Zack with a raised brow. “Well, are you going to join the presents or just gawk at us all night?”
“Hey, I have to gawk a little when I’m presented with such loveliness,” Zack purred, a smirk on his lips as he deliberately ran his eyes over both of them. He wondered if he could talk them into repeating this for his birthday. Pushing that thought away, he sprawled next to Cloud and twisted his hands into the purple ribbon before glancing at the clock. “Shouldn’t be long now.”
As if his words were a Summons, there was the sound of the front door opening and closing, and Zack was grinning so big his cheeks hurt. The almost silent footsteps crossed the livingroom, letting him track Sephiroth’s progress, and he could tell when their fourth caught sight of the cake in the kitchen as the footsteps paused for a few minutes. Zack glanced at Cloud and Aeris to find a furious blush on Cloud’s face while Aeris was biting her lip to keep from giggling.
Finally the footsteps started up again, this time heading for the bedroom, and it was a curious Sephiroth that appeared in the doorway, staring at the three of them with wide eyes.
“Happy birthday,” they chorused, and if anything, Sephiroth’s eyes got even larger.
“We couldn’t figure out what to get you, so we decided to give ourselves,” Zack announced, still grinning. “Aeris made the cake, Cloud said he’d cook dinner for us, and I organized the presents.”
At being called a present, Aeris started giggling softly as she squirmed next to Cloud. “And these bows tickle.”
That seemed to snap Sephiroth out of his stunned surprise, and he walked over to the bed, pulling his gloves off as he did. Reaching down, he trailed his fingers over the pink silk wrapped around Aeris, and she squirmed a bit, her giggles taking on a slightly breathy noise. That seemed to encourage him, and with an almost child-like smile of delight, Sephiroth started unwrapping his presents.
