I just spent nearly an hour on the phone with a telemarketer.

I didn't mind really, as it was the most amusing conversation I've had in years. It went something like this.

Survey Questions:
Him: If you had a choice, this or this
Me: Wha? (he had a heavy Indian acent)
Him: THIS OR THIS
Me: Oh! That

this continued through a few questions

Him: Now I have this really good offer... (and it was! Gift certificates and everything for a month, with no strings)
Him: Now, what credit card will you be using?
Me: Don't have one
Him: Visa?
Me: No
Him: Mastercard?
Me: No, Don't HAVE one
Him: Debit card?
Me: Dont' have one
Him: Bank account?
Me: No, don't have one
Him: Cashcard?
Me: Don't have one
Him: Now, This is a really good offer...
Me: *listens* Yes, I know, but I don't have one
Him: How do you pay for things?
Me: Cash
Him:... *starts spiel at the top*
Me: *Cuts in* I can see it's a great offer! I don't have one *trying not to laugh*
Him: You have no credit card? Okay, when will you be applying for one?
Me: I'm not
Him: *repeats himself*
Me: I'm NOT
Him: No? Surely you have a bank acount at least?
ME: No
Him: How do you pay for things??
Me: Cash
Him: .... But this will save you money
Me: I know, but I don't have it
Him: Surely someone in your house has a card you can use?
Me: No, none of us do
Him: How many of you are there?
Me: Me and my dad
Him: And he does not have a credit card?
Me: No
Him: No bank acount either?
Me: Nope!
Him: How do you pay for things?
Me: Cash
Him: Are you sure?
Me: I'd love to, but we don't have any
Him: Alright then, but I'm going to remember you *Starting to sound very amused as well, but disbelieving*
Me: Alright! Have a good day okay?
Him: You have a good day.
Me: Bye! *hangs up*
