Step One

- Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 mumblemumble holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your flist (or friend’s friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. More paid time and iconspace on my role play livejournals... [insanejournal.com profile] hero_of_wutai [insanejournal.com profile] honorablefool and [insanejournal.com profile] doompockets as I only realized after buying those last two that I will have an interesting time paying for three four [insanejournal.com profile] skeletalangel.

2. Cards. I have a wall of cards, and I like trying to find out how many will stick up there until they all come down, I have everything from hand drawn things to professional ones up there, I'd love more.

3. Fan art or fic of a strange pairing from a fandom I like to stare at know done in my name. Though I will admit this works better when people link me to said shiny things.

4. Addresses. Answers to my 'make you things' post a few down. I admit it. I really really have a thing for breaking my bank on the holidays. I like giving gifts, and I'm not sure how many addresses I have from last year are even still accurate, and I'll likely only make the cards or pictures from really bad construction paper, but I'd love the chance.

5. Scarves, glass/clay figurines, candles, colored bottles, rock eggs (I don't know why I collect these...), dice, Dean Koontz books, sharp bladed objects. Pieces for my other assorted collections...

6. Llewellyn's magical Almanacs for any years excluding 1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005. See those gaps? And the years before my dad started buying them? I've been hunting around for the missing years for a few years now.

7. FF7, any of the games revolving around it or the game itself. The movies ::stares at computer which blew up her copy of LO and shivers:: posters, figurines, shirts, anything. I want the memorabilia, the game, any of it. I'm lacking everything but a really spiffy clay Seph figurine and a copy of AC I'm afraid to play in my computer lest it get eaten too.

8. ::goes with number 7:: I want This. With burning fiery passion. Seriously. If I could afford it I would have bought it already.

9. The FMA Materials Book.

10. A house of my own. I'm working on that one though I think, wish me luck!
